Rules and
Qualifications:
Here's
How It Works:
A total of three saddles will be awarded.
One each in the following divisions:
- Open
- Non Pro
- Amateur
The Open division will consist of the following
classes:
- Open
- $10,000 Novice Horse
- $3,000 Novice Horse
The Non-Pro will consist of the following
classes:
- Non-Pro
- $35,000 Non-Pro
- $15,000 Novice Non-Pro
- $5,000 Novice Non-Pro
The Amateur will consist of the following
classes:
- $50,000 Amateur
- $15,000 Amateur

The top 4 riders in each of the qualifying
classes of each show will be awarded points
in the following manner:

1st
place - 5 points

2nd
place - 3 points
-
3rd
place - 2 points
-
4th
place - 1 point

You will receive
“saddle points” if you end up in the top 4 of
your class the day you show whether you win a
check or not. Please keep in mind these points
are separate from the year-end award points,
which still follow NCHA Rules.

A tie within a class (of
each show) will be resolved by the standard
method of combining the points of all
competitors in the tie and dividing by the
number of competitors.
►
You must enter 4 out of seven shows to be eligible for the
Estrella Ranch Run 4 The Saddle
Challenge.
►
If there is a tie in the total points at the end
of the year, they will be broken by:
